The article deals with the processes of changes in the structure of labor and industrial relations in the era of the digital economy. The new information technology is reshaping labor processes and workers, the employment structure and the professional structure. Technological and managerial transformation of labor and production relations effects society as a whole, causing the emergence of a new social structure, increasing the number of places for managers and skilled specialists, the emergence of a global labor market. Computer-mediated communication is of critical importance in the work process and social relations. New technology trends are favorable to all forms of flexibility and improve the professional structure. A new generation of managers and highly intelligent workers is being formed, and growing educational requirements set innovative tasks for education and introduce new standards of training.
