THE LEGITIMACY OF POWER AND THE REVOLUTION

The article is devoted to the problem o f the revolution impact on the government legitimacy. Revolutions in modern times have become a synonym o f a legitimate way o f overthrowing the existing government. If in previous historical era in politics the p e o p le 's right to riots and uprisings was denied, the current policy recognizes their right to revolution. Without recognition o f this right, the revolution is no t only deprived o f legitimacy, bu t also the institutions which arise in the process o f its implementation lose credibility.
