DISINTEGRATION OF THE USSR AS A FACTOR OF A NEW WAVE OF HOMELESSNESS IN RUSSIA (BASED ON JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS MATERIALS OF 1985-1996)

In the article the evolving street-children problem in Russia (during 1985-1996) is analyzed on the basis of material from contemporary Russian and international journals. Focus is on three aspects of the street-children phenomenon: causalities; manifestations and prevention.
