ON THE QUESTION OF AXIOMATICS IN AESTHETIC EXPERIENCE

Modern aesthetics tends to create a «Grand theory» based on overcoming o f postmodern irony and quest fo r a ground of new aesthetic problems. One aspect of this trend is the theory aesthetic experience. The article defines axioms and problems of aesthetic experience theory and their basic variants in contemporary aesthetic studies. The author of the paper argues that appealing to the axioms of aesthetic experience enables to put in question the status of aesthetic theory.
